In our quest to try as many different kinds of foods I’ve missed out on during the last few years I was away from Hong Kong, we decided to go to Jordan to give Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine a visit!
I’m not a huge Hello Kitty fan— I guess my relationship with her can best be described as tolerable. But I can’t deny that she’s kinda cute. And I now know she can look even cuter as dim sum!
The outside of the restaurant looked like a classy Chinese restaurant with a splash of Hello Kitty.

Most other premieres, my friends and I end up going to Storm Crow to snag a spot and watch the episode with local Vancouverites. But this one, we decided to do it at my friend’s house since it’d be her house-cooling party (is that actually a thing? Either way, she’s moving houses). Continue reading
After comic-con ended, on the Monday, we went to the Woodland Park Zoo.
I personally haven’t been to a Zoo in ages. In Vancouver, we have an aquarium, but the nearest zoo is the Greater Vancouver Zoo, which I’d rather not support.
I can’t believe another year is over. Now I’ll have to wait another 12 months until the next convention. 😦 But I suppose I should look at this as “So glad I got to come again this year!” And I am glad! This is my fourth year attending ECCC and it never gets old. Ever since I bought my tickets in September, I’ve been waiting for April.
