During our stay at Munich, we also did a day trip to Füssen and Hohenschwangau! When we decided on Germany for this Europe trip, I was lamenting to my husband how we wouldn’t be able to see the castle that inspired Walt Disney (the Neuschwanstein Castle). But then he took a look at our schedule and made it work!

Our plane from Seville to Barcelona landed about 30 minutes late, which set our plans back a bit. However, this meant that when we arrived to our hotel in Barcelona, our room was already ready for us, which was great.

Or Sevilla as it’s properly known in Spanish! We took an 8 AM train from Madrid to Sevilla, and we arrived in Sevilla at 10:45 AM. The nice thing about trains is that it gives me a break from my fear of flying.
