At about 12:15 PM, we arrived at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Frankfurt Central Station)! It was about a 3.5 hours ride from Munich, but we slept through most of it so time flew by.

We caught our 7:36 AM train from Berlin Central Station to Munich! What do I know about Munich? Thomas Müller is from there. And Oktoberfest is big here. But otherwise, it was an experience we were going to let surprise us!

Füssen, Hohenschwangau and Castles!
During our stay at Munich, we also did a day trip to Füssen and Hohenschwangau! When we decided on Germany for this Europe trip, I was lamenting to my husband how we wouldn’t be able to see the castle that inspired Walt Disney (the Neuschwanstein Castle). But then he took a look at our schedule and made it work!

Beautiful Barcelona
Our plane from Seville to Barcelona landed about 30 minutes late, which set our plans back a bit. However, this meant that when we arrived to our hotel in Barcelona, our room was already ready for us, which was great.
