I’m so excited to write this blog post because even as I was listing out the activities we did each day, I was having a great time reliving some of the fun things we did! In mid-February, the fiancĂ© and I went to Singapore. We didn’t have too much time as the bulk of our Asia trip was to revisit Hong Kong (since I was long overdue for a family visit), but we did what we could in Singapore with the time we had!

On August 26th, we boarded Holland America’s Koningsdam and embarked on a 7-day roundtrip cruise to Alaska!
We got up super early at 6 AM. Given we usually wake up at around 8 AM, this felt rough. We had to drop off our dog at our dogsitter’s in Maple Ridge, which takes us about an hour to drive there. Then we drove an hour back, and took an Uber to head down to Canada Place. Boarding took a bit as they put us in holding areas after customs, but soon enough we were on a 7-day ride aboard the Koningsdam!

Early August, the fiancé and I went to New York to visit my sister and her boyfriend! We literally were only there for 2 and a half days, so the trip was a whirlwind. Despite that though, I felt recharged and my heart was so full from it.

For the Victoria Day long weekend, we once again visited Victoria Island! The last time we did this was back in 2015. This time around, our dog won us a hotel stay so we decided we’d make the whole trip dog-friendly so he could do everything with us!
