Hey everyone!
This is my first blog post from Asia! I mean, I used to live there and all, but I didn’t blog back then, so this is exciting!
I’m back in Hong Kong, and the heat is killing me. It’s already better in terms of humidity and heat due to the typhoon that’s passing by here, but believe me, in terms of Vancouver weather, it’s actually like roasting in hell.
I will be heading off to Japan next week for 5 days, before coming back to Hong Kong for my internship. My summer job will require me to travel between Hong Kong and Guangzhou in China, which should be interesting! Hopefully, I’ll have time to blog about all of this! I find that blogging really helps me to retain my experiences and memories, so if I’m not lazy and can get good wifi, I shall blog away!
In the meantime, have a picture of me eating noodles in a bag in Hong Kong. I won’t bore you with my 60000 other food pictures– at least not in this blog post!

I am in hk. should come say hi
What a coinky-dink!!!!
lol.. i have little to do today. email me if you are free. i have a hk #
I actually got sick last night. Or something. Not sure but I woke up with a fever ๐ฆ
that usually means you are gonna die in asia…
jk. i had like 3 fevers here… and it’s a lot rougher when youre in places where every sickness is associted with fever. malaria, dengue, some weird japanese flu, u name it.. anyways i’m peacing hk so enjoy your stay here ๐
๐ฎ how long we’re you here?! My sister and I seem to both be really sensitive to the air here. Might be the pollution. Not sure. There was a time when I was used to this, but after several years of breathing clean Vancouver air, this is just too much ๐ฆ
ive been there 3 times throughout my asia trip, it was my home base for my travels.
mm my allergies were acting up on the last few days. air hasn’t been too bad.. i’ve gotten used to the asia humidity and heat so i found hk to be quite cool compared to other places lol
I wouldn’t dare go to that side of the world with that heat. Went to Hong Kong in Feb before and it was killing me already. Japan is so freaking cool! Internship? Sounds exciting and will be memorable.
Thank you!!! Haha if you couldn’t handle February, July would definitely kill you!
HAVE FUN KAREN! I am so excited to follow your travel blogs. And food photos? That doesn’t sound boring at all… ๐
LOLOLOL! You would be one of the few to appreciate my food pics XD โค
