This last weekend, we took Onyx to Rondriso Farms in Surrey! I guess we won’t ever know if this is truly his first time at a pumpkin patch — maybe before us adopting him from the Korean rescue society, he’s been due to some circumstance or another. But either way, it seemed like he had fun!

Backbone: Exploring a Dystopian Vancouver as a Raccoon
I recently finished an indie game called Backbone. I was attracted to it because it is set in my home city of Vancouver, and its post-noir aesthetics was alluring. A few weeks ago, my friend told me about a Dining in the Dark experience at Fable Diner + Bar. I’ve always been intrigued by these and I remembered when one Valentine’s Day, the (then) boyfriend and I tried making a reservation at Dark Table two weeks in advanced. I think they laughed at us — and rightfully so. We were cutting it pretty close for one of the most popular day of the year for dinner reservations.

This past weekend, some friends and us went to the Khatsahlano Street Party!
The last time I went to Khatsahlano was back in 2016 or 2017 before I moved to Montreal. I always remembered it being a fun time, with lots of neighbourhood shops displaying their wares and big brands giving out free stuff.

My boyfriend and I signed up to help foster (with a chance to adopt) doggos about 2 months back. It’s with a local rescue society in Surrey and initially our application got rejected. We live in a condo and it’s not ideal for pets. I guess I do see why certain rescue societies are picky if you don’t live in a detached house or a townhouse with a yard. If your dog really had to go potty, imagine waiting for the elevator every time!
