Early August, the fiancé and I went to New York to visit my sister and her boyfriend! We literally were only there for 2 and a half days, so the trip was a whirlwind. Despite that though, I felt recharged and my heart was so full from it.

This March marked the first time I attended and spoke at my first Game Developers Conference! It was a hectic and enriching trip, but I’m so glad to have done it. I’m not sure I want to speak again because it was STRESSFUL. But overall, it was a good time.

I recently went to TwitchCon for work! The trip was important for many reasons, and it marked the first time I was returning to physical conventions. I think this con was a great way for me to ease myself back into face-to-face interactions with the community and my coworkers. Super glad we all got to go!

For the August 1st long weekend, we went up to Whistler with the fiancé’s family! It also happened to be when a heatwave came down on BC, so that was a bit of a challenge. But nevertheless, we had a lot of fun!
