I recently finished an indie game called Backbone. I was attracted to it because it is set in my home city of Vancouver, and its post-noir aesthetics was alluring. I also am a sucker for good pixel art, which Backbone had plenty of. Shoutout to one of my friends N who posted about the game on his Twitter a while back!

I died and ended up in Valheim.
I picked up Valheim back in February of this year. I spent quite a bit of time on it with a group of friends initially, but then we put a pause on things. Recently, I picked it back up again and my after-work hours are flying by as I play.

I noticed Donut County was on the Xbox Game Pass recently—I had always intended to play the game on mobile and was intrigued by it. It looked whimsical and there seemed to be a lot of question marks surrounding the story. Also it featured racoons and I think trash pandas are super cute!
