πŸŽƒ THIS IS HALLOWEEN! πŸŽƒ

I’m so sad Halloween is over. I definitely tried to make the most out of it! Here are snapshots from this year.

The boyfriend and I went to Spaghetti Factory on Friday. We were super lucky and got seats Β on the haunted train carriage! Haven’t heard of the local ghost story? Check it out here.

Saturday was spent with friends. We played Outlast, several very questionable board games, and feasted on disgusting goodies.

We made this for the party, and honestly, I couldn’t find it in myself to eat the brain jello. The candied skulls look great though! If you pretend their noses are little frowns, it’s super cute. Β (β—‰^β—‰)

We actually carved our pumpkins this year, which is a step up from previous years. I went super generic and did a pretty typical jack-o-lantern. The boyfriend did a Haunter pumpkin which required him to scrape away at the pumpkin without really going all the way through. I do not have that patience.

Since Halloween fell on a Β Monday, we didn’t have much planned. But we did go out and take a look at houses that had decorated themselves up and watch kids go trick-or-treating. Huge props to people who made the effort to decorate! If I ran the city, I’d make it mandatory for everyone to decorate their houses for Halloween. In fact, I’d have people going around giving out fines for undecorated houses. And there’d be tax breaks for Halloween decorations. Okay, I guess we can all agree I would be terrible at running the city.

I also visited What’s Up Hot Dog on Hastings since they dressed the restaurant up as Bob’s Burgers! But I’ll cover that on another blog post. It was so great it deserves its own post!

Till next year!
